Bindi Irwin the daughter of the late crocodile hunter Steve Irwin, announced that she is engaged to her boyfriend of six years Chandler Powell.
The fresh 21-year-old was celebrating her birthday on Wednesday with her beau and family and he gave her the best birthday gift any gal could ask for. She posted a close up of her ring and a picture of her and future hubby happy and hugging on social media. Irwin said in the caption. “July 24th, 2019 ❤️ On my birthday I said ‘yes’ and ‘forever’ to the love of my life. Chandler, close to 6 years ago I fell in love with you and every day since has been a whirlwind of adventure and true happiness. I’m so looking forward to spending our forever together as your wife. Here’s to a lifetime of friendship, purpose and unconditional love. Now let’s get married already!”
The two started dating in 2013 after meeting in Australia where Bindi is from. Chandler who is a wakeboarder was there for a competition and visited the zoo where Irwin works. Six years later and the couple are ready to tie the knot!
Bindi’s mother Terri Irwin shared her happiness for her daughter and son-in-law to be on social media with a picture of the whole family saying, “Best day ever! Chandler asked and beautiful @BindiIrwin said yes. I am so happy very happy, and I know Steve would be too. Congratulations!!”
