Tate McRae Announces New Album And Plots 2025 North American Tour

Tate McRae made two big announcements on Instagram on Thursday (November 14). The Canadian pop star will release her third album, So Close to What, on February 21, and will follow that up with a sprawling 50-date Miss Possessive Tour in March. In September, McRae released the album’s lead single, the Top 20 Billboard hit “It’s OK I’m OK,” and dropped the record’s second track, “2 Hands,” on Thursday. So Close to What documents “the journey of growing up when the road ahead feels infinite,” while McRae adds that, “making this album has been the most beautiful and exciting journey.” The South American leg of the Miss Possessive Tour launches on March 18 in Mexico City, with European and UK dates in May and June. The North American leg of McRae’s tour starts on August 5 in Vancouver, and finishes up on September 26 in Los Angeles. Zara Larsson and Benee will serve as opening acts on select dates.
