The Pea Farm is an old abandoned penal colony outside of Shreveport that is entirely off limits to anyone. Trespassing here is illegal—but of course some people just cannot keep their curiosity at bay. These pictures are from OnlyInYourState.com, and are scary!!
Conditions in the jail were deplorable, and many considered being sent here as a worst case scenario.
Former inmates are said to roam the property, which used to span over 100 acres. There were stories of being a terrible basement chamber for prisoners where they suffered horribly.
