“The Bachelorette” finale was pandemonium on Tuesday night. To get you caught up to speed: HANNAH BROWN shocked fans by choosing Jed Wyatt in the portion of the finale that taped back in May, and they got engaged.
But then in June, Jed’s ex-girlfriend Haley Stevens told “People” that they were together RIGHT up until he left to do the show. And at the time he told her, he was only doing it to boost his music career, and it wasn’t real. It was just an “acting” gig.
Hannah saw the interview . . . confronted Jed . . . and called off the engagement. Then on the finale, she offered to have drinks with the runner-up Tyler Cameron, the fan-favorite who everyone wanted her to pick in the first place.
Here are some of the after-shocks from the episode that are just coming out:
1. Jed seemed to shade Hannah on social media, by ‘liking‘ a few pro-Jed, anti-Hannah posts. Including one that said, quote, “Hannah was sleeping with several people throughout the season and he has to deal with that in her past [too].”
2. Meanwhile, Jed’s ‘ex’ Haley says she thinks about Hannah every day. Quote, “It’s heartbreaking for her. And it makes me sad that this made her sad. I’ve had the opportunity to take ownership for what I did wrong . . .
“If I had known this would go so far, I would’ve said, this is unacceptable.”
3. Tyler accepted Hannah’s offer to get a drink on the finale, but there aren’t any more details on their status. However, Tyler did just post a sweet note to Hannah on social media.
Among other things, he said, quote, “What a ride . . . this journey with you is something that I will always cherish. I am so grateful for all the experiences that we shared together. You taught me so much about myself and pushed me to be a better man . . . Looking forward to that drink. Forever your biggest fan.”
4. Hannah says she won’t rule out doing another season. Quote, “I learned so much about myself during this process and if I were to step into this position again, I’m sure I would learn more . . .
“To look that far down the road right now feels unfair to the attention my heart needs now while I heal . . . but, never say never!”
